Bankruptcy case search
Look up U.S. business bankruptcy cases by debtor, court, and filing year. Each case page cites the public record it was built from. A filing is not confirmation that a company has closed.
What you can look up
Start with the case database, the filings from the last 90 days, or narrow by filing court or filing year or chapter. Company pages collect the cases, events, and sources attached to one commercial name.
A case page shows the case number, chapter, filing date, court, and linked debtors when those facts are on the record. It does not estimate the chance of recovery and it does not give legal advice.
The court on a docket is where the proceeding was filed. It can be Delaware or the Southern District of New York for a company that operates somewhere else. Use headquarters state only when a company record actually carries one.
Read the methodology before treating a status as a conclusion, and the source notes for where a fact came from.
