Corrections and source questions

Public records can be incomplete, delayed or attached to the wrong company identity. Specific evidence is the fastest way to investigate and correct a page.

Email

Send corrections, source questions and responsible-disclosure reports to contact@shuttingdown.com. Include the Shuttingdown URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a stable court, government or company source that supports the correction.

What happens to a correction

A correction is evaluated against the underlying record. If a source was attached to the wrong company, an event was interpreted too strongly, or a later filing changes the outcome, the public page and derived status can be updated while preserving the evidence and status history. Shuttingdown does not remove an accurate public filing merely because it is unfavorable.

Company representatives

Where Shuttingdown holds a verified company domain, a representative may verify through a work email. Verification does not grant the ability to alter court or regulatory records. Company-supplied information is attributed separately so readers can distinguish it from public-record reporting.
